Web Application Developer

Calgary technology company is looking for a new full-time Web Applications Developer. We want to hire an individual with a passion for software development. You will work with our team of developers developing web applications.

We're hiring developers to help expand the feature sets of our online web applications. We have been heavily under development and are now moving into the commercialization of the software we have built.

Required Skills:

  • B. Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent education/ experience. A degree is not a requirement if you have good experience and passion.
  • Thorough understanding of object-oriented software design principles
  • Ability to reliably plan, describe and implement a solution to software problems
  • Flexibility in the adoption of standard tools

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Adobe ActionScript 3, Flex, and/or Air
  • Knowledge of web application development
  • Experience with Eclipse.
  • you will need to be familiar with SQl. Specifically we use MySQL.
  • Java experience would be useful
  • Any other technical or design skills would be of great benefit
